PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION OF SUMMARIES AND PAPERS FORMAT FOR THE
PRESENTATION OF SUMMARIES
The publication of the summaries accepted will be ‘camera ready’, which means
that it is important for the text submitted to be in WORD and in accordance
with the following rules
- Title in uppercase letters in bold print, 12-point
Times New Roman.
- Leave one blank line
- In normal 10-point Times New Roman; list of authors
and institutions to which they belong (in lowercase letters) including e-mail
address, if any.
- Leave one blank line
- Text in DIN-A4, margin 2.5 cm, font normal 12-point
Times New Roman, alignment justified, simple spacing, indent first line 0.7 cm,
single-spaced. Paragraphs numbered in sequence in uppercase letters (bold)
leaving a blank line between them.
- Blank line
- Acknowledgements (if any).
- Bibliography in 10-point Times New Roman, indicating
authors, year, title, name of periodical or book referenced, volume, ISBN or
similar, pages.
- Each summary written in Spanish or English, the
official Congress languages, should not exceed two sheets of DIN A-4, on one
side only.
Indicate on a separate sheet the preferred session, preferred method of
presentation (oral or poster), the author who will present the summary, the
author’s address, telephone, fax and e-mail, to facilitate consultations.
The deadline for receipt of the summaries is 15 May. The summaries should be
sent by e-mail to:

FORMAT FOR THE PRESENTATION OF POSTERS
The rectangle for the exhibition of a poster is planned to have the following
dimensions: 50 cm in width by 90 in height. The placement of the posters will
be effected prior to the time reserved for them. They must be removed at the
end of the period of time allowed for their presentation. This information will
be provided at the Congress.
FORMAT FOR THE PRESENTATION OF PAPERS
The maximum number of pages per paper is six (including figures, tables,
references, etc.), DIN-A4, WORD and 2.5 cm. margins.
The sequence of the presentation will be:
- Title in uppercase letters in bold print, 12-point

- List of authors and institutions to which they belong
(in lowercase letters) including e-mail address, if any, in normal 10-point
Times New Roman
- Leave one blank line
- Summary in 10-point Times New Roman, justified,
simple spacing, indent first line 0.7 cm, single-spaced.

- Text margin 2.5 cm, font normal 12-point Times New
Roman, alignment justified, simple spacing, indent first line 0.7 cm,
single-spaced.
- Leave one blank line
- Acknowledgements (if any).
- Bibliography in 10-point Times New Roman, indicating
authors, year, title, name of periodical or book referenced, volume, ISBN or
similar, pages.
- The figures and tables must be inserted in the text
including scales. The additional information referring to the figures must be
in WORD, normal 10-point Times New Roman.
The papers are to be sent on a diskette and must be received by 15 de May 2007,
as the maximum deadline. Following a process of revision by ´referit´, the
papers accepted will be published by the "Camera Ready" procedure, scale of
greys. This means that the papers must be submitted by strictly following

All of the sessions will be held on the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, (CSIC), Madrid.
The presentation of the master speeches will take place in the periods
scheduled for the Plenary Sessions.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Papers will be given in the independent rooms located on the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, (CSIC), Madrid, in the periods scheduled for the free sessions, with the possibility of arranging simultaneous sessions according to subject matter areas. .
Each speaker will have audiovisual aids available (power point, projector for
transparencies, blackboard) and 25 minutes in order to give the paper,
including a discussion period, the length of which will be determined by the
moderator.
For the presentation of a paper, oral or poster, the person giving the paper
must be registered in
"OCEANOS III MILENIO (OCEANS 3rd MILLENNIUM)".
None of the participants will be allowed to present
more than one paper personally, although a participant may appear in all of
those that are accepted
and where the participant is the co-author.
No submissions will be accepted by Fax.
